Harrison Art League July Art Show At The Boone County Library And Thank You To All Who Participated!!!

The Harrison Art League met May 8th to present Genevieve Fancher Art Scholarships for 2017. This year there were three scholarships given out, the largest amount that HAL has ever awarded. Zoe Dechambre from Harrison High School (teacher A. Harris) to major in digital design, Scarlett King of Valley Springs High School (teacher L. Jones) to major in art therapy, and Hailey Perronne of Flippin High School (teacher C. Bladsel) to major in art education.
(Each were awarded $400, funded by HAL, and with thanks to HAL members: J.K. Fancher, Jim Hubrick, and Jennifer Bartlett)

Dear friends of the arts,
Keep sending those recipes and images for The Artists’ Cookbook, our fund raiser
for our gallery advertising,  juror awards, etc.  What a great opportunity for everyone to be involved including  our
HAL artists and friends who aren’t usually able to participate in meetings and events. This is something we can all contribute to.
Don’t cook? Raid a friend or relative’s recipe box - for a good cause, of course.
We’d like our artists and friends to contribute at least 5 recipes - more if you have them. Our tentative categories are:
Main Dishes and Casseroles
Breads and Rolls
Appetizers and Beverages
Salads and Sides
Submit recipes to:
